What are wrinkles?


As you get older fine lines and wrinkles begin to appear. This fine lines and wrinkles are also known or sometimes referred to as a fold, crease or ridge. The skin is made up of elastic fibers called collagen and elastin. As these fibers stretch, the skin becomes looser and thinner causing the relaxed appearance known as wrinkles.

The most important is skin care.

Minimize sun exposure! The sun is most damaging to the skin, and will definitely cause premature wrinkles. So make sure you apply a facial moisturizer containing SPF 15 or more.

You need to take the time to cleanse, exfoliate, hydrate and moisturize your skin on a daily basis.

Cleansing and exfoliating, your face, removes the dead skin cells and allows new one's to grow. Moisturize,facial creams coat the skin with a very thin layer of oil, which prevent the skin from drying out. If the skin is dry,wrinkles are more noticeable. Drink lot's of water, so that you can flush out all the toxins from your body.
Change your habits. Stop smoking, limit your alcohol intake, and watch you facial expressions. To much frowning will give you forehead wrinkles and squinting promotes eye wrinkles.

Olive oil, gently massage your skin with it on a regular basis. Always massage in the opposite direction of the wrinkles.

Carrot juice, can also be quite effective to fight wrinkles. Drink a glass daily and in a few weeks you can see a significant change.

Cucumbers, are not only a great treatment for eye wrinkles but also help soothe and relax them.
Ripe papaya can be applied on to your face, leave it for about 10 minutes and wash off with luke warm water.

Pineapple core, can be rubbed on your face, leave on for 10 to 15 minutes and rinse off. Works well on fine lines.

Pure castor oil, when applied an wrinkle prone areas can prevent them.
